Osun Election: Primate Ayodele Predicts Adeleke’s Victory, Warns of Post-Election Challenge

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has predicted that Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, will secure victory in Saturday’s governorship election.

Ayodele, however, warned that Adeleke could face a fresh challenge after the election, urging the governor and his team to remain vigilant throughout the process.

The cleric made the prediction in a statement issued ahead of the August 15 governorship poll.

According to Ayodele, Adeleke has been “anointed” by God to win a second term, but he alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) could challenge the outcome if the governor emerges victorious.

He claimed that the APC’s alleged strategy would not end with the voting process, but could extend to the period after the declaration of results.

“In the Osun election, God has already anointed Ademola Adeleke to secure a second term in office.

“He will win the election, but the APC are working towards the aftermath of the win. They will attempt to steal victory from Adeleke if he isn’t careful enough.”

Ayodele subsequently advised Adeleke not to become complacent, urging him to maintain vigilance and strengthen his information-gathering efforts across the state.

The cleric further alleged that there were plans to pursue victory through avenues beyond the ballot box.

“The governor must follow them closely and ensure he has eyes on the ground because they have already concluded their plans to go beyond the election polls to get victory by all means.

“Adeleke must stay with his win till the very end,” he added.

Adeleke, APC Head Into Final Days

The prediction comes as Adeleke seeks a second term in office in an election expected to attract strong competition from the APC and other political parties.

With the election scheduled for Saturday, August 15, parties and their candidates are making final preparations ahead of the poll.

Ayodele’s comments are his personal prediction and should not be taken as confirmation of the eventual outcome of the election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will conduct the election, while the final result will be determined by the votes cast and officially declared by the electoral commission.
